WE FUEL OUR PURPOSE WITH THE FOOD CHOICES WE MAKE.
ABOUT AYURVEDA: Ayurveda has its roots in Indian culture yet it’s principles and Ayurvedic cooking can be applied to any type of food tradition and incorporated into any lifestyle. It is not Indian cooking although the medicinal and therapeutic quality of spice is valued. Our brand is Vegan, but Ayurveda is neither Vegan nor vegetarian. It’s a set of scientific principles that are universal. Ayurveda considers all substances to be medicinal, when used at the right time, in the right quantity with awareness of the health of the client.
We use our knowledge of: Ayurvedic principles, the six Ayurvedic Tastes, the Doshas (our personal Ayurvedic constitution) and the Gunas (the universal states of balance, transformation and stasis), in the crafting of our delicious food, our products, and services. We do all this while drawing inspiration from the diverse cultural food traditions found in South Africa and the world.
