The Seasonal Ayurvedic Cleanse

A dysregulated digestive system has far-reaching effects on how we function in the world and how we experience life. Dysregulation happens in small increments, and we tend to get used to living with our discomfort, until our body and mind shakes us into awareness. It need not be this way, if we create time and space for rest and cleansing.

This seasonal Ayurvedic Cleanse gives us the opportunity to do just this.

Description:

This workshop takes you through the preparation, elimination and nourishment needed when administering an Ayurvedic cleanse at home. It contains both theory and practical aspects. We cover a range of protocols available for use to the individual seeking to refresh their body.

Module 1: How to transition from your current state of health and best prepare our gut for a cleanse

Module 2: We learn how to give the digestive tract the rest and support it sorely needs, following a mono diet that has worked for centuries

Module 3: We learn how to cleanse the body of the toxins we have accumulated in the past season so that they do not cause illness that becomes chronic

Module 4: We then gently strengthen and nourish our rejuvenated body and transition out of rest

This Course is for:

anyone who is feeling lack lustre or exhausted

anyone who is having trouble maintaining consistency with your emotions, routines and lifestyle

anyone who has allergies, cravings or skin issues

anyone who is having trouble sleeping

anyone who would like a reset for the New Year

What the course includes:

Videos, notes and a cleanse pack containing:

  • Juices and recipes for slowly transitioning into a cleanse
  • 3 -7 kitchari packs including spices for your dosha
  • Internal and external oils for your dosha to assist your body to prepare for detoxing
  • Ayurvedic herbs to support your body during the process
  • Teas to support your liver and kidneys and teas to support your dosha
  • Bottles for Nasya (a nasal flush) and abhyanga (daily massage)
  • Recipes and meal packs to gently transition to a normal eating

Our disconnection from natural rhythms, robs us of the opportunity to rest and restore, leaving us feeling depleted. Time away may feel short and life seems to continue unabated. Taking our cue from nature, we observe the slow change in natural environments as it transitions from season to season. Allowing cycles of stasis, shedding, nourishment, rejuvenation and transformation.

This was my first experience doing an Ayurvedic Cleanse and it really did teach me so much. Michele has created an incredibly well-thought-out and intimate experience. I will definitely be incorporating parts of the practice into my everyday life. I look forward to doing more cleanses and courses with you. Thank you Michele, it was truly wonderful!

This cleanse was a necessity. It really enabled a reset of my body. I think the best part of it is that a lot of the things you do in the cleanse can be easily incorporated into every day life for continuous benefit and well being. You will be able to see the amount of effort that goes into the food preparation packs and teas that form part of the cleanse. They are both delicious and nutritious. Thank you to Michele!
